TRANSPARENCY PORTAL

Avoid brand and reputational loss with the Transparency Portal. It is the simpler, faster and more effective way to collect the information you need to manage risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and operate robust and resilient supply chains.

BUILD AND MAINTAIN A COMPREHENSIVE PICTURE
OF YOUR MULTI-TIER SUPPLY NETWORK

More than half of all supply disruptions originate at suppliers in the second tier or beyond, yet 82 percent of companies do not have a comprehensive picture of their supply chains beyond the first tier. Filling that knowledge gap is becoming increasingly important and DHL Transparency Portal is supporting this need.

Companies need to know where their lower tier suppliers are located, so they can assess their vulnerability to natural disasters, political upheavals, concentration risk and other region-specific risks. They need to know which companies make up those supply chains, so they can find hidden weaknesses, like multiple suppliers that all rely on the same source for key materials or components. And they need to know how those companies are operating, to ensure quality, supply continuity and regulatory compliance.

Resilience360 Transparency Portal is a fully customizable, on-line survey service that streamlines and accelerates the task of gathering insights from multi-tier supply chains. Survey requests are delivered electronically to identified suppliers, who provide information via a secure online portal. Pre-defined survey templates cover a range of common requirements – including supplier identification, business continuity management preparedness assessment, supplier security assessment, Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) compliance and conflict mineral reporting. Survey responses are fully integrated with Resilience360 Risk Assessment and Incident Monitoring capabilities, with access from all participating suppliers in the network.

Users can drill down seamlessly from high level overviews to the level of specific responses from individual suppliers, allowing the rapid identification of risk hot spots or supplier capability gaps. DHL, with the largest world-wide transportation network, can support the data collection through the Transparency Portal with its established supplier relationships, historic data on shipment movements and its position as a trusted partner to mitigate confidentiality concerns.
